NEA Learning and Leadership grants
funds group projects such as study groups, focus groups, or research groups; or provides funding for individual professional development
ongoing deadlines (Feb., June, October)
awards of $2,000 to fund a project to improve teaching and learning or to further an existing project; (3 larger awards)

Lowes, International Paper, and National Geographic's Outdoor Classroom grant
funds from $2,000 to $20,000 to build or enhance an outdoor learning area for k-12 students that particularly enrich science education
